A pleasant two hour drive from Melbourne and a 30min drive to Wilsons Promontory National Park and an hours drive to Philip Island.
Meeniyan is home to ABC's drama series "A Bed of Roses" starring Kerrie Armstrong. Filmed in and around the village of Meeniyan.

Gardens, Orchard and Potager
If you are a garden lover you will love the extensive cottage and rose gardens at Hudspeth House. We have a great orchard and potager. When fruit is available guests are encouraged to devour as much as they can eat. We have several benches throughout the garden and orchard including a swing seat to gently lull you into a state of peace and tranquility. Guests usually go home laden with home grown fruit and vegetables from the orchard and potager.
Complimenting the gardens is the natural bird-life which includes parrots.You may even be lucky enough to see a maurauding koala wandering through the gardens.
rbeque and Entertainment DeckingThere are BBQ facilities available and entertainment decking for guests to enjoy.
The tranquility of the BBQ and decking area against the flood lit trees and gardens along with the bird-life make a stay at Hudspeth House something to remember.
